About the author

Prophetess Omolara Oyeyemi is a child of God and a minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ. She was called to ministry in 1976 and has since served in several capacities at Cherubim and Seraphim Church Movement, Surulere, including as Captain of Daniel band, a responsibility she has held for the past twenty years. She has four children, five grandchildren and is a spiritual mother to many.

It has been my great pleasure and honour to know Prophetess Omolara Oyeyemi since 1984, when I joined the choir of the C&S Movement Church, Surulere (Ayo Ni O). The relationship has since grown from a mere acquaintance as members of the choir to that of a mother and son. Mummy Lara, also affectionately referred to as Mama Lara, Sisi Lara, Aunty Lara, or Woli Lara by different individuals depending on their relationship with her, is a woman of grace and unwavering faith. She is full of the Holy Spirit and graciously endowed with diverse gifts of the Spirit. A true Mother in Israel. A virtuous woman with an excellent spirit. A great Prophetess of God whose calling is sure and indisputable. Her prophetic ministry has been a tremendous blessing to thousands of souls over the years. Like a palm tree, she continues to flourish in the courts of our God. She still bears fruit in old age, remaining fresh and green.

In this book, Pro. Lara Oyeyemi is candid and sincere about her life’s journey. During her trials, she seemed like someone rejected and forsaken by the Lord and despised by the world, but now how sweet is the song of victory. She openly discussed her failures, frailties, vulnerabilities, weaknesses, and fears. Her story should serve as an inspiration and a source of hope to anyone facing diverse challenges in life. It doesn’t matter how you feel. It doesn’t matter what you think. It doesn’t matter what people or even you say. What matters is what God says. Mummy signed off this book with the word, “Shalom” which means Peace. This is a word of prophecy for you. Although times may be difficult and life may present challenges, but Christ is saying to you, “Be still, and know that I am God.”
